Book your travel early. Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is the main gateway, and flights fill up quickly during peak wedding seasons. Arrange transportation to and from the venue. There are two main options, Ubers and private cars. Pack for the occasion: Cabo’s climate is sunny and warm, so opt for breathable fabrics, comfortable shoes for sandy beaches, and a light wrap for breezy evenings.

A block of rooms at a discounted rate can be accessed under Travel on the website until they are sold out. We will try and add on to that block if it sells out quickly, but the resort will not guarantee that they will extend the rate so we would suggest booking as soon as you can confirm your plans!

SJD - "Las Cabos International Airport" is the best airport to use. Solaz is approximately 35 minutes from the hotel depending on traffic

Uber is available as well as private transport. The wedding planner recommends you book with Vivo Luxury, and they provide a discount for our guests. Beginning at Los Cabos International Airport, take Baja California Sur San Jose del Cabo - Sta Anita/Lib al Aeropuerto/Mexico 1D going south (only available direction) for approximately 18 km. Then take a right on Transpeninsula/Mexico 1 for approximately 16 km to Solaz Resort which will be on your left. Solaz Resort does not charge for self parking if you wish to rent a car and drive, but be aware that some of the roads, especially at night, can be hard to navigate.

Busses leave for the marina to depart on the Los Arcos Welcome Cruise at 4:30 pm, leaving from the front of Solaz Resort, so you will want to schedule to arrive by Thursday by 2:00 pm if possible.

Think breezy sundresses, dressy shorts or skirts, collared shirts, light slacks, sandals or loafers. Relaxed but polished — perfect for a daytime celebration in the sun!

A short ceremony will be held outdoors on the Pool Deck, followed by a cocktail hour immediately following at the Pool Deck Reflection area. The reception, dinner and dancing will be held immediately following the cocktail hour in The Spot - an indoor/outdoor venue. There will be signage to direct you to each area.

We kindly request Resort Formal attire: think elegant summer dresses, linen or lightweight suits, dress shirts with slacks, and dress shoes. We recommend light, breathable fabrics in festive colors suitable for a beach or garden setting.

Expect warm, sunny days reaching up to mid 80's during the day and dipping as low as 60 in the night.

There will be downtime between events when the wedding party will be planning for the big event! Bring your swimsuits, sunscreen, swim goggles and casual wear to be sure you are able to take advantage of this amazing resort!

We encourage you to take all the photos you want at the cocktail hour and the reception, but respectfully request you refrain from taking photos/video during the actual wedding ceremony to allow for little disruption

In general, Cabo is considered a very safe area in Mexico, but it is always wise to stay within tourist areas. We recommend you take advantage of the resort facilities and beach areas for any downtime you have. Be aware of your surroundings and never explore outside of the resort alone at night.

Prior to the date of the wedding, you can contact the wedding couple directly on their cell phones. Once the wedding weekend has begun, the best option is to text the mother of the bride, Cindi, at 214-457-8108.
